About this trip

Every journey with The Real Borneo starts at Kumai harbour and ends somewhere much quieter - sitting still at a forest feeding camp, watching a wild orangutan move through the canopy just a few meters away. The kelotok is simply how you get there; the forest does the rest.

Cruise along the iconic Sekonyer River aboard a traditional wooden klotok boat. Witness wild orangutans at the Tanjung Harapan feeding station, observe proboscis monkeys and tropical birds along the riverbanks, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and sleep under a glowing canopy of fireflies on the upper deck.
